Jakob Claus is a research associate at the Institute of Art and Visual Culture at Carl von Ossietzky University of Oldenburg where he is currently working on a PhD on the conditions of colonial and ecological knowledge production in early twentieth century ethnology. He studied cultural and media studies in Berlin, London and Lüneburg.
