Rebecca Puchta studied Literature and Economics at the University of Erfurt and “Studies in European Culture” at the University of Konstanz and Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi, India. From September 2017 to November 2019, she has been a PhD candidate in the graduate research training program “Configurations of Film” at the Goethe University Frankfurt am Main. Her research interests include media and cultural theories, methods of cultural studies, and governmentality studies. She is currently working on the completion of her dissertation with a focus on knowledge production in documentary post-Snowden.
